While we are proud to have a diverse workforce that reflects the communities we serve, our work to empower women and advance equitable representation across all parts of the company continues. In addition to our ongoing training and development programs, we have implemented several new initiatives to support underrepresented groups and enable all our team members to progress in their careers.

Improving wellbeing in the workplace

We are continuously improving our programs, procedures, training, and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. This includes strategic robbery prevention programs, anti-harassment programs and enhanced training for team members.

Ensuring that our team members and customers feel safe and secure in our stores underpins our license to operate and our commitment to the communities where we live and work. Over the past year, we prioritized workplace safety training and strengthened our global robbery prevention program to help protect our team members, our customers, and the partners who work with us.
Increased commitment to workplace safety as key priority

We are continuously improving our programs, procedures, training, and facilities to ensure a safe and healthy working environment. This includes strategic robbery prevention programs, anti-harassment programs and enhanced training for team members.

Reducing work related incidents

We launched Circle K Safety Star over the summer in both the U.S. and Canada. This interactive mobile app-based training provides game play opportunities for store team members to learn more about these types of injuries as well as why we care that they work in a safe manner and the consequences of poor safety practices.

Creating conditions for an inclusive organization

We strive to be an inclusive and attractive employer, providing our people with a work environment where they feel safe, respected, and able to develop their full potential. We’re working to advance equitable representation, opportunities and pay across the organization as our people continue growing with us in their careers.

Our Business Resource Groups (BRGs)

“As part of our journey toward making our company a more diverse and inclusive organization, over the last two and half years we have formed several new employee-led Business Resource Groups (BRGs) including ones for race, LGBTQ+, disabilities, ethnic diversity, and most recently, military veterans and family members. All BRGs have members of the leadership team as Executive Sponsors who provide thought leadership, guidance and support.

These groups play an important role in creating a safe, accessible, and rewarding workplace and showcasing the unique contributions of our team members.”
